Kids Class (Children & Teens)  

*4 - 17 years old

Children at FBJJC

Our kids and teens class’s initial focus is on character building and leadership training as they learn the various arts as scheduled

(BJJ, Judo, Submission Wrestling, Self Defense).

Our children and teens’ program takes great pride in developing tangible skills. Your child or teen will not be awarded belts or rankings based on attendance or repeating information that they cannot apply. This means that they will be held accountable for their own performance and learn to create their own success as they help their teammates to do the same.

We are a mentoring academy that helps kids to become teachers, communicators, and self-reliant leaders both on and off the mats.

Adults Class

Adult classes consist of BJJ, Judo, submission wrestling, and Self-defense as scheduled. Belt promotions for adults (18-55) are based upon application of technique during live training or competition* (not required if technique is equal to a competitor’s skill levels).
For our Senior Students belt promotions and rankings will be based upon technical knowledge and transferable teaching ability to the younger students wherein there may be physical limitations. Belts may change at any time as needed, maybe even during a class unexpectedly!

Christian Restorative Stretch

Restorative stretch class is a restful practice that is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching. We use Christian praise and worship music to provide a Holy Spirit lead stretch. We want to help you work through your physical ailments with a relaxing stretch on the mats.

Self Defense Classes for Women

We host specific classes for common self-defense scenarios where themes are emphasized and practiced according to the ability of the student’s physical and personal needs.

Incorporating Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo and stand up self-defense.
